PROFESSIONAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT- SPARKLING IDEAS
Who intends to carry out projects successfully needs idea making and
problem- solving tools. Project manager can, finding good ideas with
abstract tasks on the one, on the other professional communication
helps them to respond adequately and identify the cause of conflicts.
There are a whole number of tools and resources on idea determination.
The brainstorming is an informal working with a group by free
assoziation of ideas to get creative potential: the
idea of a group member raises associations and new ideas of other group
members. A different tool is the mind map method graphical through a
combination of images, items (lines, boxes), and slogans ensuring that
the connections between the different aspects of idea collection for
each are clear. These methods are used in many areas for use in the
analysis and evaluation of organisation and management strategies as
well as the provision of ways to solve managerial responsibilities or
training in business and employee management.
Processes seen Holistically
Everyone has his own preferred perceptive system. The one who like to
read reports prefers the eyes, the other likes calls, he is more
audibly. Project manager must find this out for his employees to "pick
them up where they stand". The project manager is always the moderator
of
the team. But rarely he has a special training for it, therefore there
are problems in the
application of creativity methods. For example, there are incomplete
results of brainstorming sessions, especially if some time already is
passed since the session, and the
logical development of ideas is not clearly understood. Proper planning
is therefore critical. Planning means not only determine dates and
deadlines. It requires the ability to a process as a whole to review
and to
identify the interaction of individual thought and the priorities.
That leading should be disconnected from secondary activities.
From the Problem Oriented "Away from" to the Solution Oriented
"Towards to"
Everywhere where people in close relationship are there are
conflicts which, if not tackled, block a part of our available energy.
The professional communication enables correctly perceive the practices
and signals of the partner to well session and determine the root
causes of conflict. In conflict situations, finding the cause is
usually an essential step towards to the solution. It is to help the
partners of a problem orientated "away from" a solution oriented
"towards to"
reaching. The exact questions help to detect conflicts and to defuse
them.
Communication
Finally, is in dealing with people very
important, what is said. Formulations demonstrate what the individual
thinks himself about
something. Because one tenth of communication takes place over
the spoken word, the rest via the nonverbale content of communication.
Schulz von Thun´s four ears model gives an insight as arrive our
statements in the opposite. The four pages of a message are always
valid: neutral content, self revelation, relationship and appeal.
Defining Targets
In the project it is the most important to define the target. This
is not only in the beginning. It is essential to locate and edit
disruption
during the project too. Questions after the actual
destination help. The target definition is successful if the internal
resistance are completely eliminated. This is best possible if the
target state is described and addressed with all five senses - vision,
feeling, hearing, smelling
and tasting-. The more concrete aim is coupled with an increase in the
person´s satisfaction.
This is visible in his body´s expression. The asking person promotes
this
process by helping him the opposite always to formulate his
destination clearer. Changes of the destination are allowed during this
process,
because the process goes on until the destination is feasible without
any restriction. The
skills that are particularly useful for this target state can be
enabled and a bridge in the future can be beaten.
