TECHNICAL COACHING- ACTUAL CASE
A manufacturing company asked us to assist them in re-organizing it and
then to implement methods and programs to not only support the staff
but as well to make their work more efficient.

There are two essential criteria necessary for implementing software
and new methods into a company. The obvious is to train the staff
adequately on how to use the new tools. But more important is sound out
the staff, lock in on resistance to these new methods that may be
arising and clear them up in the forefront.
In some areas of the company it was necessary to lay off workers simply
to keep the company alive and thriving financially. It stood to reason
that many employees were indeed nervous about every move made for fear
of being the "next in line". What followed logically was that many
workers did not dare voice their opinions or criticism because they
were afraid of the negative consequences that could follow.
Because of these lingering fears amongst the staff it was absolutely
critical that trust was rebuilt at the company. This was best achieved
by several methods: Going on site and meeting with individuals
one-on-one at their work place. Supporting the planning of difficult
meetings.
Helping the individual with career planning at the company. Helping
staff to voice criticism constructively.
Or for example, chairing brainstorming sessions with staff members to
look for new possibilities. This particular project ran parallel to the
down times of the manufacturer which needed to be decreased as well as
the number of staff.
This project accompanied the project Planning Shut Down.
